MAYBE IF I STOOD ON A CHAIR THEN THE TREE THEN THE BUILDING
I’d be tall enough
but you’d be small
not ant sized
aphid sized (they’re really small right?)
I’m ready to buy sunglasses
and learn to play the piano
while swaying my head
to mashed potato songs
everything everywhere
is an empty room
or a dentist’s office lobby
and the magazines are
two months old
even with the lights on
feeling of another switch
a switch behind
the first switch
a secret switch
a clue
a feeling
of other lights
if that switch
would just switch on
extra lights and
you would appear
